FILLERS

Plump, define, accentuate, and love all your best assets with fillers. Injectable fillers usually consist of Hyaluronic Acid, which is naturally found in the body and helps with skin elasticity and hydration. By injecting fillers we can smooth over lines and wrinkles while adding volume to all the places that were lacking, like your cheeks and lips. Some fillers even stimulate collagen, which can yield longer-lasting and natural results. Which filler is right for your beauty goals? Ask us during your next consultation.

WHY SHOULD I GET FILLERS?

Our skin naturally loses elasticity and fullness as we age, leading to wrinkles and volume loss (think sunken cheeks and eyes). Fillers use ingredients very similar to what’s already in your body to replenish lost volume and even add a bit to features you want to enhance, like the lips and jaw. Fillers are the perfect solution for clients looking to counter the effects of aging, younger clients looking to begin an anti-aging regimen, or even those of us who want to add a little extra “pop” to our favorite features 💋.

FAQ

How long do dermal fillers last?

Filler longevity varies depending on the treatment area and type of filler used. Filler results can typically last over a year. Results and follow-up appointments will be ironed out prior to your appointment.

Can I get permanent fillers?

We wish! Your body naturally breaks down and absorbs fillers over time, which is why results will slowly fade without follow-up appointments. While some products are formulated to last longer (sometimes years!), a permanent filler has yet to be created.

What happens if I stop getting fillers?

As we said above, if you don’t receive regular follow-up injections, your body will absorb the filler eventually. The process is subtle as your body loses the additional volume and reverts to its previous appearance.

Can fillers be reversed?

Yes! Most fillers can be dissolved if you are not completely satisfied with your look. However, bio-stimulators, like Sculptra, work by stimulating collagen within your body to increase volume- which cannot be reversed. Make sure to discuss your options with your injector prior to your appointment.

What age should I start getting fillers?

You can actually begin your filler journey in your mid-20s or early 30s! Around 25 is when most bodies begin to decrease collagen production. By 30 you’ll notice increased wrinkles, poorer skin quality, and other aging signs. While many clients begin to receive fillers in their mid-30s or 40s, you can actually begin your filler journey in your mid to late 20s to increase your benefits!

Are fillers better than Botox (and other toxins)?

Comparing fillers to Botox is like comparing apples to oranges. Neurotoxins temporarily freeze muscle movement to reduce apparent and future wrinkles. Fillers on the other hand usually contain HA (Hyaluronic Acid) or stimulate collagen to increase volume and fullness. To keep it short, fillers and toxins both work on different things to help keep you young and can even be combined to maximize results!

Do fillers hurt?

Not necessarily, however certain parts of your face will be more sensitive than others. In areas such as the lip, you may feel more discomfort versus areas like the jawline where you may not feel anything at all. A mild topical anesthetic may be applied prior to your appointment to keep you as comfortable as possible. We also offer an injectable numbing agent for lips so that you won’t feel a thing during treatment!
